Today I visited for the diagnosis and inspection of the ac system. The equipment is a 2007 Trane and uses R22 Refrigerant (r22 is no longer imported or manufactured in the US). I discovered multiple repairs that are needed and other concerns with the equipment. The condenser fan motor bearings are seized and the compressor fan capacitor will need to be replaced. The drain line connection at the air handler is broken. The evaporator coil is rusted and could possibly be leaking refrigerant. Due to the repairs needed and high potential for future repairs we recommend the equipment is replaced. I provided multiple estimates , 1 for the immediate repairs required to get the system running and the others are for a complete system replacement. The system is down at this time.

Quoted client new 2.5 ton carrier Heat pump for upstairs Also quoted new duct system for downstairs due to completely submerged from flood. Client payed deposit for duct work by check need to have on schedule. Client is going to talk with insurance for the system to be replaced but will also be having it installed

Found bad compressor Sent estimate to replace not under warranty and for new 2.5 ton heat pump system. Client wanted new compressor installed signed estimate and will perform work today. Brennan G Today I visited to inspect a water stain on the ceiling and determine if it was coming from the AC system. I found that the water stain is over 10ft away from any components of the air conditioning system. It is confirmed that the water stain is not being caused by the AC system in any way. The area was dry during my inspection today. Tara informed me the ceiling only gets wet when it is raining outside. I suspect the roof has a leak.

Arrived to find system low on r-410a Performed leak search to find leak in evaporator coil System is still in warranty under wife’s maiden name Client signed estimate and payed half deposit Need to pick up from ybor and schedule client has company coming in this weekend

Found system off on Float switch customer would like to take care of it themselves.

Found water spots on ceiling due to damage duct work above Sheetrock Client had concerns of biological growth inside air duct and wanted it removed anyway. Inspected entire duct system to find upstairs worse than the 3 registers downstairs Client requested quotes for both upstairs duct system replacement and a mini split for downstairs

2nd opinion on carrier infinity! Tests confirm that the inverter board is bad! Recommend replacing both boards in condenser and system replacement options given!

System operating on arrival! Customer educated on function of overflow safety switch related to thermostat errors. Customer elected to vaccum drain himself! No charge callback.

Performed system maintenance. Found system operating with low refrigerant charge. Performed a leak search over entire indoor and outdoor equipment with no leaks found. System is only a couple years old. Suggest replacing the refrigerant line set and adjust refrigerant charge. Operating with low refrigerant or a leaking line set can cause irreversible damage to the new equipment.

AC Replacement for one unit that no longer works -Home has 2 systems. Ductwork needs to be cleaned - estimate for both the duct cleaning and new installation.
