Upon arrival found indoor system running and compressor non operational. Tested to find bad start capacitor and compressor contactor. System is 13 years old and showing signs of soon replacement. Client approved today’s repairs. Installed new parts and tested to find higher head pressure due to backwards filter dryer causing restrictions. Made clients aware that with systems age is probably best to let it live its life out. System is working to the best of its abilities at this time.
Inspected all duct work that I could fully access. The master area of home is completely plywood and can not inspect runs but the feeder to the rooms is in bad shape and has newer flex connoted to it causing moisture. Whoever installed the duct work connected newer flex to the old existing boot boxes and is creating moisture issues. The flex runs connecting to the air distribution box in the spare bedroom areas is poorly sealed and causing condensation to drip onto new Sheetrock. Notice that a couple of the start collars connecting to the boot boxes in the living room area are not even seated right and the grills have gaps around plaster ceiling. If the client wants to do that job right we really need to do option 3 I do not feel comfortable leaving a lot of the duct the way it is due to improper installation
PL error code turned out to be low voltage bus protection in air handler! Voltages, refrigerant and compressor all checked out ok! Cycled power to clear error and unit responded. Operating properly now! No need to return at this time!

Brennan G Today I visited for an estimate. Bif is gathering multiple estimates.
Customer ordered pump is too loud so he wants it removed and converted back to gravity drain.
Upsized 14 to 16 Upsized 8 to 10 Closed all wall returns from attic with metal end caps
Diagnostic! Mini split head motor is making noises that sound like bearing failure imminent! Recommended replacement and cleaning. Customer reviewing options.
Return is undersized and is running an .8 return static. I REMOVED THE DUCT BOARD PIECES IN THE WALL THAT WAS USED TO SEAL OFF RETURNS TO GET CLIENT HY UNTIL MONDAY MORNING. Installers need to return to upsize 14” coming off the 12x24 return grill to a 16”, upsize the 8” return from the master to a 9”. Will need to build up the duct board return from the 12x24 and attach 16” to the 24” side of the duct board return box. Run the 16” 9” and 12” returns to a db box and from the db box we will run a 18” flex piece to the existing metal return to the air handler. CAP ALL THROUGH THE WALL RETURNS OFF

Brennan G Today I visited for the system not cooling. I preformed diagnosis and found the blower motor had failed. The system is under parts warranty until 2030. Instead of waiting for parts to come in, Evan elected to have us replace the motor outside of manufacture warranty. I installed a universal 3/4 x13 blower motor, cleaned the blower wheel, washed the condenser coil and flushed the drain line. We also enrolled the system into our maintenance agreement The system is cooling normally at this time.
Task Includes -Removal of existing 4 ton metal duct system -Installation of new 4 ton supply duct system -New supply plenum in garage -Abandoning through the wall returns -New existing return flex -Adding new 12x12x1 remote return
Cleared clogged drain and emptied secondary pan! No charge! See Notes!
First tuneup completed! No issues! Customer want to set up sales call for mothers home up north by brooksville! Need to coordinate with Tory!

Found float switched tripped due to plugged filter and also client was running too restrictive of an air filter. After I cleared water from float and drain line the system would run for a couple mins then trip switch due to restrictive air flow pulling water from drain pipe causing float switch to trip. Made client aware to run a less restrictive filter preferred a MERV 5 and recommend to leave filter out for the night until a new one can be purchased in the morning. Freon pressures and system had cooled home down from 82-80 degrees before leaving
Couldn’t find any issues with any ductwork. Everything is running good with Normal smell
Returned and installed new OEM condenser fan motor Washed condenser coils as courtesy System performing as designed now
Removed charge, purged and flushed all lines, pulled vacuum on all heads x3, recharged after pressure test and tested! System now cooling with outgoing air in the 40s F! No need to return! Total repair time 15hrs over multiple visits with tech support help!
