System currently operating at 11 degree cooling difference due to inside ah having buildup of debree on wheel and coil restricting airflow. Unit filter needs to be changed on a regular basis as well due to a lot of dust in ductwork. System should be cooling at 20 degree difference. System is 10 years old and out of warranty.

Need to return for 1-2 hours to hang remaining vents

Arrived to find existing hole for mini split drain was higher than head unit (starting point) replaced line with mini split pump and reran drain and assured proper functions. All working as designed at this time

No cooling, found bad thermostat. Jumped out thermostat and tested system, noticed compressor had high startup amps and there is no surge protector on the system. Client decided to just replace thermostat for now. After installing thermostat cycled AC on and off. Noticed that the indoor fan does not shut off. There is a short in the blower motor module. Need to order and replace blower motor/module under parts warranty. Client paid 50% deposit for labor.

Gave estimate for Veritcal 2.5 ton Carrier Heat Pump

Upon arrival found system cooling at 74 and maintaining temperature while running without filter but Coil is a micro channel coil and can not be cleaned in place nor the system pumped down into the condenser due to could potentially blow apart condenser coils. System is 12yrs old and do not recommend a pull and clean. Sent estimates for band aid repairs of pull and clean and the proper fix of system replacement due to cost and age.

Upon diagnosis found bad dual capacitor Replaced dual capacitor

Returned and installed under first warranty condensate pump Repiped pump and decretive chase cover. Client is having mold restoration company come out to test for mold due to leaks

Performed tuneup on system working at 20 degree difference Inspected ductwork in attic and boots and found mold growth inside and outside of ductwork due to not being properly sealed recommend replacing for indoor air quality.

Dropped off Permit and Had NOC signed.

No cooling, found system completely empty of refrigerant. There is a leak somewhere in system. Gave client options to do a leak search with nitrogen and a trace of refrigerant, however, system is eight years old and recommend replacing due to age in cost of repairs. Client decided to go with another company to replace system. Other company was on site same time as we were.

Client stated additional rooms have never cooled properly Client has had someone run 3” dryer vent hose into old supply air duct and does not get sufficient air flow. Ducts need to be upsized into bedroom and additional bathroom. Advised removing duct in hallway due to no purpose and only to increase air flow into other rooms. Can not fully access the back half of house duct will need to be removed and reconnected made client aware

Quoted new 2.5 ton system and duct sold for install tomorrow

Performed fist system maintenance Checked all electrical connections Amp draws in motors Tested all starting components Cleared and treated drain line Freon pressures are to manufacture specs Cleaned condenser coils and pad sprayed leave on cleaner on inside unit. System has a badly weak starting component outside and made client aware that this can prevent catastrophic failure to the compressor or no cooling in home at all. Compressor is also experiencing over amping start amps. Offered new starting cap and start assist to help alleviate all high start amps from compressor and extend compressor life! Client stated was not prepared to have an investment into system today and will call back to schedule

Arrived to find water damage to homeowners downstairs ceiling and some water damage to wall in room above. Please see attached pics. Damage is due to mini split pump failure and have new on will call at Daikin Clearwater. Need to return with pump and new line hide I am going to reduce application for client

Perform tuneup on 2 AC systems. Inspected indoor outdoor coils, flush, drain lines, inspected blower wheels, checked temperatures, checked, static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major and minor electrical components. After looking at upstairs system noticed heavy amount of biological growth buildup on supply Plenum and ductwork is outdated also noticed some biological growth buildup inside blower cavity. Compressor has high startup amps on both systems, upstairs blower capacitor is weak, and the downstairs system is low on refrigerant. Gave client several solutions for issues with system, including full ductwork replacement and IAQ along side with blown in insulation for attic. Suggested that we install hard start kits to lower compressor startup amps and replace capacitor of the blower on the second floor to prevent any damage to the blower motor. Client needs some time to think about all of her options and we’ll get back to us. Both systems are up and running

Install Complete

Unit operating normal. Air temperatures were checked, drain line was flushed, all major and minor electrical components were checked, refrigerant pressure and temperatures were checked and are good. Customer advised she heard loud dripping coming from her water heater and it was discovered to be rusted and intermittently leaking; customer was advised to replace this and given an estimate. Customer was also advised to install surge protectors but has declined at this time.

Backflow preventer is dripping out of vent. Advised replacing backflow preventer, AG5 crown fitting, and 15ft of copper pipe. Needs to get approval from management before moving forward.
