Brennan G Today I visited for the system not heating. I discovered the air handler breaker was tripped. I then found that the breaker for the air handler and the condenser were backwards. I swapped the breakers. The system is now operating normally.
Brennan G Today I visited for a system maintenance. I replaced the drain insert and disinfected the air handler. The system is clean , all of the electrical and refrigerant components are within specs. I tested the heating modes. The equipment is working normally at this time.
Brennan G Today I visited to inspect the system after the thermostat display had appeared burnt, and the condenser made a popping noise after the electric heaters were turned on for the first time. Upon arrival I discovered the thermostat display looked normal. I tested the system in heat mode and it is running normally. I inspected all of the high voltage wiring connections inside the system and verified the circuit breakers were not getting warm. I discovered the air filter was dirty. We replaced the filter. The equipment is operating normally at this time. I suspect the popping noise was simply the contactor relay engaging the electrical heaters.
Arrived to find system giving error codes p-03 and p-01 which means restrictions or low in charge called tech support to varify and tech support wants to evacuate charge and if charge is good then there is a restriction in condenser and they recommended replacement of condenser. Labor is not covered
Brennan G Today I visited for the system leaking water. I discovered the condensate pump and line were both very dirty and suspect this was why the system leaked. I cleaed the components and watched the system run for appx 20 mins to verify it was not leaking. The system is cooling normally at this time.
Quoted new 2.5 ton straight ac Carrier system This is a rental and had to send estimates to homeowner awaiting for further approval
Brennan G Today I visited to preform an Inspection of the AC equipment and confirm it is operating normally. The system is clean and all electrical components are within specs. The refrigerant levels are within range. We enrolled the system into our maintenance agreement.
Brennan G Today I returned to replace the blower motor and contactor relay for system #1. The system is now cooling. 1 year warranty on repairs preformed today.
Brennan G Today I visited for system #1 (right side) not cooling. I discovered the blower motor and contactor relay have failed and need to be replaced. The system was not registered and the parts warranty expired in 2022. I provided a repair quote, we are going to return tomorrow to preform the immediate repairs. I discovered the supply duct system is filled with bacterial growth. The duct system cannot be cleaned and will need to be replaced. Donald declined having the addressed at this time and opted to just get the system running for now. We discussed replacing the system due to repair cost, age , and lack of manufacture warranty we will be returning for estimates to address this in the future.
Brennan G Today I visited for the system not cooling. I preformed a diagnosis and confirmed the blower motor and compressor fan capacitor have failed. (Cap was coverd in oil) I provided Christina with quotes to repair the system under parts warranty and outside of the parts warranty. The blower motor has a 7-10 day arrival time from lennox. The system us under parts warranty until 03/26.

Cleaned drain and condensate pump. Also noticed three ducks were chewed up from a rodent and pressures were low. Oil and the SS two. We need to call Trane in the morning and get a price on evaporator coil. Unit is not under warranty due to not being homeowner.

Hung the pans , fixed the plenum, taped the duct work, and made sure doors were sealed

Task Includes -Installation Of 2.5 Ton Daikin Fit Inverter -System will only have a 5 year warranty (Condenser was installed in home to find it was undersized) (Air handler will be new)
Ductwork and package unit estimates!
Arrived to find unit A with bad compressor valves ( system is running but compressor is not pumping Freon throughout system) system utilizes R-22 and recommend replacement due to age. Unit B has a bad constant torque blower motor and needs to be replaced. All duct work for both units have been highly compromised and made client also aware of this! Sent client all estimates I recommend. Also sent quote for 2.5 Ton daikin fit system used. Client invested in used 2.5 ton daikin fit with new duct system in unit A and when we do the install we will be installing the new blower motor next door
Assessment of job with Louis needinstallers to return first of the week to return and seal duct and rehang pans
Brennan G Today I visited for a system diagnostic. I discovered the immediate problem is blower motor failure. I quoted 925.00 to replace the motor, Fred declined at this time.
Arrived to find burnt contactor Replaced with new under 10 year parts warranty. Client also invested in system surge protection Installed all while on site System now functional as designed
Arrived to find system cooling and set at 76 satisfied at 76 Ran system to find water dripping from under system right before where the drain line exists. Mike and myself ran through the system verified no leaks in system and I did add a small amount of 410a to circuit 1 but I believe that’s because the system might have not been charge to spec with just the little amounts I had to add. I believe the insulation is saturated under system and needs to dry and also believe the pan has a crack in it due to water leakage please see attached videos

Have client quotes on new duct work Will have to tear down what sheet rock is needed to access the duct board trunk line and also sent estimates for new equipment. Client would like a new insulated stand with carrier filter rack installed with new equipment
