Replaced evap coil, compressor values are bad and couldn’t do a proper pump down. Recommended a new compressor or a replacement with a bigger unit and free blow in. Follow up in one weeek.

Arrived to find completely plugged evaporator coil and causing system to have an extremely high static pressure on return side. Made client aware this is why the system is dripping water and offered repair vs replacement. Client approved system replacement but was unfortunately declined on credit app. Gave client my number to call if something changes tonight or can barrow the money from else where. Need to call client to schedule pull and clean repair options

Upon returned arrival client stated the system was making a whining noise every so often from air handler in closet. Inspected entire system to find only reason for noise to be from blower motor periodically. Made client aware it was unfortunately due for replacement this time due to cost and age. Credited back the repair from previous visit and will be installing new carrier 1.5 ton over the water heater application on Friday morning

Arrived to find system in off position Turned on to find blower motor intermittently running due to bad indoor board. System is 20 years old with a 2 yr old condenser. Made client aware the board is obsolete and indoor system will soon need a matched air handler to correlate with condenser. Bypassed control board with contactor to get client by until they return from there trip in 2 months nd they will call back to replace system.

Arrived to find system in off position Turned system on and inspected entire system Amp draws within range no signs of over amperage Head pressure was a little high so washed condenser coils as courtesy Talked with Mr. Bob and he stated that the compressor would run but fan motor was not operational. Made client aware that I believe the defrost board relay for fan motor was intermittently dropping 1 leg of power for fan motor. Bypassed board to illuminate issues due to age and to save client some money he agreed. System is cooling as designed at this time and had dropped 2 degrees within the run time it had.

Arrived to find indoor unit operational Climbed on rooftop to find 11 yr old 3.5 ton straight ac condenser to be non operational due to bad compressor start cap. Replaced with new and installed compressor start assist due to age and to prolong system life. Client payed via cc while onsite and also had questions on what a new system would cost. Sent todays repairs and new system quote.
James, the technician could’ve not been more personable. He checked everything out. He did a great job. I would highly recommend him.

I placed a call to Mason A/C customer service to follow up on a 6mo. service call that was overlooked, and it was immediately scheduled.
