Meet Our Founder, Louis Mason
Believe it or not, Louis Mason found his way into the HVAC business almost by accident!
A quiet person, he was looking for a way to make some money after he finished school. He found a job doing ductwork in the area. Right away, he was good at installing, cleaning and repairing the actual ducts, but soon his bosses realized he could do so much more.
Before long, he was working on the HVAC machines themselves. It turns out that Louis has an unbelievable knack for the technical aspects of air conditioning. They even called him the best technical AC person in Florida.
As great as his knowledge of HVAC is, what stuck out even more to people was how talented Louis was at explaining these complex systems. He was able to talk about their workings, and more importantly how to get them working again, in a way that anyone could understand. The thing that differentiates him, and ultimately the company he founded, is that not only can he communicate clearly with an untrained person, he makes it a point. You'll never see him or any of his employees trying to talk circles around a client with jargon. That's not how he would want to be treated and so that is not how Mason treats you.
Louis also had another amazing talent for sharing his expert knowledge with his apprentices. This career takes quite a bit of schooling, but there are some aspects you can only learn on the job site. Louis understands that and has been a wonderful wealth of information for people in this industry. As a matter of fact, many of Mason Air Conditioning & Heating's lead technicians are people that started here as apprentices under Louis!
