Quoted client new 3 ton straight ac system

After arrived to unit on 202 found machine is only about 7 1/2 years old has a new UV light inside of it. Condensate pump is working good if insulation is missing off-line replace Arma flex. 10 feet of armaflex

Brennan G Today I visited to preform maintenance. The system is clean and all electrical components are within specs. The refrigerant levels are good. I cleared the drain line and verified the coils are clean. The equipment is operating to factory specs.

Maintenance

Re wires float switches, and checked charged. Unit has gas in system and is cooling. 7 degree sub cool with a recommended 7-9. Cleared drain and main drain

There is nothing wrong with the AC unit! Condensate drain possible slow draining! Cleared drain with applied vacuum and checked other systems. Unit operating normally and reached set point tonight! AC unit fully functioning when arrived and when left as well.

Tripped breaker 25A in disconnect box to condenser. Recommend either changing the breaker or replacing with a standard blade style disconnect.

Rechecked pressures! Pressures normal!

Adjusted refrigerant charge!

Rechecked pressures. No change in pressures or cooling capacity. System simply wearing out and undersized for the space. Recommend replacement with a more appropriate unit and adding insulation to attic space. Customer updated
