Gave client estimate to replace their 2 ton straight cool AC system. Client is going to review estimates tonight and make a decision by either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Water leaking from bottom of air handler, float switches, not being triggered to turn system off with overflow, found clogged drain line, did a complete evaluation of system. Found system low on refrigerant, outdoor capacitor is weak, and contactor is burnt and pitted. Gave client solutions for issues with system, however, system is nine years old and recommend replacing due to age and cost of repairs. Also explain to client that we can get our carpenter to repair sheet rock damage behind air handler. Client needs to discuss options with grandson and will get back to us at some point today.

Arrived to find blower sounding like a freight train Found blower speed from factory settings at 5 tons of air movement. Set fan speed for 3 tons system now cooling as designed . Believe that the blower speed set so high forced air out the return

Systems are operating normally. Air temperatures were good, condensate lines were flushed, refrigerant pressures and temperature are good, all major and minor electrical components are ok, client inquired about WiFi thermostat, gave client estimates on replacing current ones with EcoB. Maintenance was covered under free tune up for installation.

Found system with breaker off Tested 1.5 ton heat pump system that has been flooded by previous storm to find compressor on its last leg. System is operating with extremely high head pressures very low suction pressures. The compressor contactor is making a horrible noise while being energized. Advised client that replacement is recommended over repairs due to system being 11 years old and being submerged in salt water from storm. Gave client quote for new carrier heat pump system with a 10% loyal client discount.

Arrived to find system not cooling due to clients had lost power and system needed to be programmed for date and time. Set date and time to get back to Home Screen for system to then turn back on. While on site performed complimentary check of system to assure proper functions all okay.

Provided estimates to replace 2 1/2 ton heat pump system. New system will be elevated at least 4 feet on either a stand or a wall bracket. New insulated air handler stand will be included as well. Prices include all taxes, labor, and permits.

Brennan G Today I visited to diagnose a rattling noise from one of the condensers and also review some findings regarding the AC systems that were recently left by an inspector. I found the rattling noise was from a loose screw on one of the condenser cages. I tightened the screw and stopped the noise. The inspector noted a rusted emergency pan underneath air handler #3. This pan is for air handler #3 which the replacement of was not included in the work previously quoted/preformed. However the pan is in good condition and the amount of rust in the pan is normal. The pan is far from "deteriorated". I inspected the suction line insulation at all of the air handlers and the insulation is sufficient. The condensate pump for system #1 is adequately installed and has proper water overflow protection (float switches) installed to protect the ceiling below from water leaks. It is not necessary for the condensate pump to have its own pan. The duct system is older and could use a mastic seali

Brennan G Today, I visited to assess the air conditioning system after water infiltrated it during the recent hurricane. The power is currently off to the home so I was unable to test the equipment. However I did confirm salt water infiltrated the electrical cabinet inside the condenser and some of the components are already beginning to corrode. The equipment will likely need major repairs and due to the corrosion that will continue to occur repairs are not recommended. I emailed Anthony a system replacement estimate.
