Found ac off , tested capacitor and has gone bad. Replaced capacitor system cooling normally

System is not operating, the condenser is not receiving power from disconnect panel and the disconnect panel is not receiving power from breaker box. Power-cycle was attempted and no indication of any response was observed. We’ve referred customer to the electrical department.

Current residence is under construction and has a mismatched 5 ton heat pump system. There is a lot of things not to code. System will obviously need upgrading along with hanging kit for horizontal application it’s hung by chains. Bathroom conversion closets to air handler side of home has a return in it and will need to be demoed and new will have to be installed in bedroom closets to system due to no attic access throughout home. Also the bedroom below air handler has a 5” duct tapped into the supply boot box and runs into the bathroom conversion and do not recommend this application. Current air handler will need to be cut into sections to be removed. Also Sheetrock damage is possible in order to get new system in attic due to size. Appears to have an addition half bath on other side of upstairs story and appears the air duct has been removed from that area. Attempted to call home owner to make aware of all issues but no response. Sent estimate for base model system

Found unit off due to main drain line building having backup will need to have plumbers clear line and then have us come back out to perform drain line repair and maintenance

Upon arrival found headunits in lockout error 01 Reset breakers and head unit came back to functioning normally unit May have a wiring issue we can dig into deeper on a maintenance and correct if need be.

Performed drain line cleaning in attic on air handler and used solvent to keep drain line clean, will need regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns and have iaq

Hvac going is on going

There are at least four systems not working. Need to come back and do extensive diagnostic to determine if units can be repaired or replaced. Will follow up with general manager tomorrow for further evaluation.

System not cooling adequately, found system low on refrigerant. Performed a leak search and found leak on suction line where it comes out of service port on condenser. Scheduled for installers to come out on Monday, May 5 to repair. This will be covered under labor warranty due to installation error.

System is operating normal. Filters were replaced, air temperatures and system static pressures were measured, drain line was flushed, all major and minor electrical components were checked, as well as refrigerant temperatures and pressure. Everything is in normal operating condition.

System operating normal and cooling to set point. Customer advised another tech had been here a couple days ago and may have fixed whatever issue was present then.

Sent options for new duct system and air purifier

Arrived to find breaker tripped. After inspecting system turned power on to notice loud electrical noise coming from breaker then would trip. Client on site stated that system had worked but breaker would make noises intermittently while turned on. Removed quick disconnect at condenser and reapplied power to breaker to have no noise. Investigated power supply to have correct voltage leaving breaker and to condenser. (208V) reapplied power to condenser to have electrical terminal blow out and system had lost entire Freon charge. System is roughly 2 months old and I believe the system was improperly installed or had a manufacturer defect to have such a mechanical failure. This failure normally occurs on an older system that has taken years of abuse. Need to order new compressor, R-11 flush Lineset, triple evacuate system, and charge with virgin R-454B or replace the whole system with a 3 ton carrier system due to high possibility of poor insulation or future manufacturing defects.

Coils inspected and cleaned, condensate line cleaned and flushed, all major and minor electrical components were tested, refrigerant pressures and temperatures were good, and capacitor was checked. Filters were checked and need to be replaced. Client was offered surge protectors and declined at this time. Client purchased a box of new filters and renewed membership. Need to schedule a date to pick up and install filters.

Originally here to do a tuneup on AC, however, client’s heat was not working. Found bad electric heat strips, also ductwork has several areas where it is torn and leaking air. Ductwork is pulling outside air into home. Advised client to replaced system due to age cost of repair. Client chose to replace existing system with ductless mini splits throughout the home. Installing on Monday, April 21. Client got approved for financing, however, they are waiting for an email to be sent for them to sign documents.
