James returned and discussed issues client was having. Stated that the kitchen and bathroom vent was sweating at certain times. After discussing the certain times with client he stated the kitchen was sweating when large door going outside was left open and bathroom vent was sweating when showers weee taken. Made client aware no bath fan installed and if door is left closed all the steam will cause vent to sweat
Aaron quickly made an initial check of my Carrier system and agreed with my suspicion that it needed a new “run” capacitor. He made the necessary repair, got the system running, and completely checked it out so it is now running properly.

Task Includes -Installation of 2.5 Ton Carrier Heat Pump System -Connecting to existing copper lineset, electrical, and duct work -Installation of new condensation pump -10 Year parts 1 year Mason Air Labor warranty

Upon arrival air handler was working in good order. After inspecting all major and minor electrical components the capacitor was found to be outside of the it 40 mf rating ( it was at 14) and was replaced. The system is operating normal now. Customer was offered and opted to become a member under Mach one plan. Biological growth was discovered In air handler however and it was recommended to the client to have UV lights installed. There were no surge protectors on inside or outside unit; customer was advised of the importance of these devices and to have them installed.

Unit is 18 years old with a major leak in the evaporator coil. System is frozen over. Due to age of system and price of repairs customer opted to replace unit. Board member Tom from HOA advised there needs to be a 24hr notice before install. Installers should be out Friday.

no cooling, system is a 3 1/2 ton package unit on the roof. Found bad condenser fan motor. Ordered part from supply house and another technician will be coming here later today to replace motor. Client paid 50% deposit and will owe the remaining balance after the repair is completed.

Found bad blower motor Duct work is undersized Client wants new duct work and in warranty blower motor Apex is doing repipe and has a loan with them and we are being tapped in to do duct work and blower motor will pay remainder with CC

Performed maintenance on AC system. Cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, flushed drain line, replaced air filter, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked static pressure, checked refrigerant pressure, inspected all major and minor electrical components. Found biological growth inside air handler, evaporator coil was covered in cat hair and tobacco smoke, outdoor capacitor is very weak, compressor has high startup amps, and system is low on refrigerant. Gave client solutions for issues with system. Client does not want to move forward with any recommendations at this time. Client does not want to sign up for membership.

Performed tuneup on AC system. Inspected indoor and outdoor coils, cleaned, and flushed drain line, checked air filter, inspected blower wheel, checked temperatures, checked, static pressure, checked refrigerant pressures, inspected all major in minor electrical components. Found some biological growth buildup in air handler, and compressor has high startup amps recommended installing a UV lamp system inside air handler to kill and help prevent biological growth buildup, and recommended installing hard start kit to reduce compressor startup amps. Client needs to discuss with spouse before moving forward with any solutions. Client signed up for an annual membership.

Replaces air handler and condenser used old uv light added condensation pump

Arrived to find client installed (2) Daikin mini splits himself. He advised me that he believes the 18K is low on charge and the 9k is not completed. Will need to evacuate the 18k pressure test system possibly reduce flare joints as well pull required vac, recharge with R-32. Need to run client provided mini split copper Lineset flare and pressure test. Pull required vac and test operations. Sent estimate to be viewed

No cooling, found condenser fan spinning very slowly. Tested capacitor. Capacitor checked out OK. Found bad condenser fan motor and compressor had high start up amps. Gave client options for repairs, however, system is 8 years old and recommended replacing system due to age and cost of repairs. Client decided to go ahead and replace the system. Installing tomorrow, April 4, also included free membership for one year with new system.

These are the following task to get the system back operational to further diagnose system and or get home back cooling. -Dual run capacitor -New electrical disconnect whip -New condenser fan motor -All labor is included in pricing

Upon arrival client was not on site and after talking he was requesting a once over in system due to selling home. System is 21 years of age! Turned system on and checked amps draws on system. Outdoor fan amps within range but compressor amps was running exceeding amps. This is more than likely due to not only age but the condition of condenser coils they are very brittle and falling apart which is making system have lack of air flow. Check Freon pressures to find low suction pressure with a 28 degree evaporator coil temp indicating low on Freon. System utilizes the old R-22 and is phased out. System is also running a higher than normal head pressure also due to badly deteriorating condenser coils.. Made client aware of all these issues and do not recommend repairs due to age of 21 year old system and if Freon was added to system it would drive the head pressure only higher and cause bigger issues! Made client aware that replacement would be in best interest for either selling homes pu

I’ve had seven different heating and air conditioning companies out to inspect my aging system, and evaluate the potential of replacing it. James is the one that I most trust. He was so patient to answer all of my detailed questions. All of his answers were congruent with my prior knowledge (background in automotive refrigeration). I placed a call to Mason A/C customer service to follow up on a 6mo. service call that was overlooked, and it was immediately scheduled.
