Upon arrival client stated she is selling the home and that home inspector stated there was issues with system not cooling according to temperature splits he had gotten while on site. Inspected entire install and found no issues with system. Simply made client aware that system is a communication system and in order to get 100% performance out of system in cooling modes on cooler days like today or the day inspection was performed you will need to force system into a test mode to allow system to run at 100% efficiency! System has 0 issues and is cooling and heating home perfectly.

Client is building new half bath and there is a through the wall return in the space he would like moved to master bedroom location. Gave client quote for new installation of return to be cut in and connected to existing return duct trunk. Also gave client estimates for complete duct replacement and to replace just flex line rewrapping of boot boxes and leaving through the wall returns awaiting for client apprival

Arrived and found strapping over condenser to be the issue of noises. When attempting to remove self tapping screw from side of system it was apparently very close to cooper coil and puncture the tubing and lost all charge. I repaired leak while onsite pulled vac and recharged system with factory charge 13lbs. Rescued condenser and uploaded before and after videos. All is working as designed at this time. Made client aware that unfortunately this is a mechanical system and can not make the system quite as a mouse and that some noise maybe heard late at night when it’s really cold out and nothing is running in home.

Brennan G Today I visited for the system freezing and not cooling. I thawed the system then discovered it is low on refrigerant 410a. I preformed a complimentary leak search and found the condenser coil is leaking refrigerant. I provided a repair quote along with a system replacement quote. Due to the phase out of equipment using refrigerant 410a ,(beginning 01/2025) the repair of this system is not recommended. The part needed for this repair is a factory order part and will take 3-4 weeks to aquire. The system is down at this time.

Arrived to find growth on supply air grills and around them Found extremely old and falling apart air duct with a lot of air leakage Found undersized return Advised new duct system and also quoted new ac system due to age of system Clients are reviewing quotes and finances and will get back with me within the next couple of days

Upon arrival client stated they wanted an estimate for maintenance to be done in system. Also they are wanting to hook there store bought generator to this hvac system and some of home. Made aware that the 2.5 ton system is old and will draw a lot of wattage. Soft start would be highly recommended if choosing to use this system on the 13k generator they have. Sent quotes for maintenance plan and for install of soft start

Found upstairs systems ductwork highly compromised by rodents. Made client aware that he needs to replace all ductwork and to remove insulation from attic and have new blown in to have odors removed from home. Client also wanted me to look at the downstairs system while on site due to sweating . The system is a 3.5 ton and has a 9” duct feeding (4) 3” supply lines in dinning room and (4) 3” supply’s feeding the kitchen area. The duct work can not handle the 3.5 tons of air movement and is falling apart which is the reason why client is having sweating issues from downstairs ductwork.
