Brennan G Today I visited for a system maintenance. The system is clean and all the electrical components are within specs. I flushed the drain line with hot water and chemical cleaner and disinfected the air handler cabinet. The system is heating normally at this time. We discussed installing surge protectors to further protect the sensitive electrical components inside the system.

Brennan G Today I visited for the system not cooling. I discovered the 3A fuse inside the air handler had popped. We found the contactor relay coil shorted. I replaced the faulty contactor relay and installed a new fuse. The system is now cooling I emailed the invoice for payment.

Client has a bad breaker at main box recommended electrician to replace checked compressor as courtesy all test good just need 240v to condenser

Brennan G Today I visited for the system not cooling. I discovered the system low on refrigerant. I preformed a leak search and discovered the evaporator coil is leaking. We scheduled the coil to be replaced next Friday (1/11). A 50% deposit for the work was collected and I recharged the system for temporary cooling. The remainder due upon work completion.

Blower wheel has a burr on it preventing removal of wheel! Unable to repair without damaging head casing or blower motor itself! Customer going to order a new blower wheel and cut old one off the motor shaft himself! No charge for diagnoses!

Customer had a metal chair sitting against the unit upon arrival and when she moved it to give me access to the unit the noise stopped! Unit is operating properly and shows no sign of issues! No fee charged!

Arrived to find system functioning Wife had made me aware there was no display to thermostat they changed the batteries and still no display but thermostat randomly powered back on. Made client aware that the thermostat is more than likely faulting out and needs to be replaced. System had no safety cut offs to make system lose power so only issue could be thermostat. Did make wife that the system is in desperate need of a maint and could need to be cleaned. The outdoor disconnect is in rough shape please see attached pics. Recommend replacement as well. Checked system operation to find all working to best of abilities at this time wife stated she will discuss with husband and let us know what route they chose to take.
