Arrived to fine system set at 81 and satisfied at 81 Noticed system was giving an error to register thermostat. Called client to assure that she had been able to control the thermostat previously via phone. Client agreed and stated that the tech that installed it set it up and sent her the info. Brad was the installer and is no longer with us and assuming he deleted the app which caused this issue. Client will be in town the 18th and wants to schedule call back then to get set up on her phone

System is flat with no refrigerant! Condenser is ICP 2012 and air handler is Goodman 2018! Both out of warranty! Replacement options given due to age of system! If system approved must be ordered as Straight COOL only! Not heat pump!!!

Preformed maintenance on garage air handler and side yard condenser. AH has pretty bad growth but it operational and cooling. Cleaned condenser and drain and vacuumed out any leaves in condenser. Noticed serious rust issues on condenser. Planning on replacing system when they do house renovation sometime in June, will need to recommend a coastal unit due to house being on ocean water. …..WILL NEED TO RESCHEDULE MAINTENANCE FOR UNIT ON ROOF…… details sent to Danielle

Customer had someone replace the thermostat. Found that the heat did not work. Upon inspection found thermostat set for reversing valve energized in cooling. Rheem system needs reversing valve energized in heating. Provided option to sign up for membership instead of paying diagnostic and repair fee.

Found system operating with extremely low refrigerant charge. Pressure switch has been bypassed. This has allowed equipment to still operate with low refrigerant charge and has potential caused damage to the compressor.
